seaside roses

July 12, 2011
It was hot today, too hot to work outside. i am lucky to have salt water a shot distance from my house. I went swimming  in the cove twice today.  This painting is the ocean at  Pemaquid where the water is ruff and cold, no good for swimming but beautiful to look at. The wild roses bloom the last of June and part of July. This hardy bush is surviving on the rocky shore.
