Time to leave Eugene for a month in Maine

Wires WC
Hi Everyone
Tuesday July 24th I am leaving OR and flying to East Coast. Doug will be picking me up in Newburyport  MA and then driving up to Maine. I am looking forward to seeing everyone. It has been hot here in the 90ties  and I hope it is cooler in Maine and a few foggy days would be nice.
Below are some photos of scenes at Ya Po Ah. I love all the different trees, shrubs and flowers that grow here.
Between the streets are alleys. This scene is from an alley. A lot of wires coming off this pole. Vines completely cover the side of the barn. Ay Po Ah in background.

July 2018

It has been awhile since t have made a post. My computer was falling apart and some of my programs weren’t working so I quite my internet server because it was  already expensive and then they increased the monthly charge. Douglas and Christina came to Eugene in June for Lucy’s graduation from University of Oregon. While here Doug helped me buy a new computer and he set it up. Many people here at Ya Po Ah have WI so one of my neighbors said she would share and Doug connected me to her server and it worked.
T he beautiful spring has now slipped into summer with long hours of daylight, not getting dark until 9 o’clock. It is in the seventy and  eighties and everyday is sunny. The gardens  here are beautiful flowers and vegetables. The farmers outdoor market has  every vegetable to buy.. Strawberry season is just about over. Everyone is outside in the parks and eating in the outdoor cafe’s and restaurants. I have been to the river for swims. Every week there are free concerts in the parks and I have been to several of those. I go on most of the bus excursions  from Ya Po Ah and I have a full social life with the people that live in this building. My time in my studio apartment is spent painting, reading, and looking at stuff on the computer  I ride my bike to the grocery  store and others places that are near here. Almost everyday I take a little walk around the neighborhood and I tend  to my small garden space. About once a week I go out to Christ’s farm. I get tired, rest, and keep going. Other then having a pacemaker to regulate the heart I am in good shape for my age.

Bought my ticket for flying to Maine and back. I will arrive in Boston on July 24th and be back in Eugene August 28th. I will be staying in my old home on Back Cove that Doug and Christina have been working on and looks so beautiful from the photos I have seen. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Love Audrey
