photos to make you smile

balanced Square 16 x 20 sacred geometry using perspective

I spend a good deal of time looking at other artists paintings on pinterest and in the process come across other photos I enjoy. I photo them with my camera from the computer. Some are fuzzy. Children and animals will make you smile. I went to the outdoor farmers market, mostly winter vegetables. Spring is here, days are now in the fifties. I planted pea seeds in my little garden. Going on Ya Po Ah bus trip tomorrow to the daffodil festival.

The big storm

This has been a crazy winter everywhere, extreme cold in midwest, storms, blizzards, floods and now tornados Most of winter was mild here in Eugene. February cooled down to freezing at night and then Feb. 25th a snow storm of a record foot of snow. There are no plows in Eugene, not even shovels. I looked out the window to see people shoveling snow off their cars with dust pans and brooms, and of course no one has snow boots. Most people stayed inside and enjoyed the view. There were a great many tree branches down. Trees here can’t take heavy wet snow. Christopher had one of his 100 foot green houses colllapse.  There is still some snow on the ground. I though I would put some photos of plants that are flowering now. Nature knows spring is around the corner. There are flocks of robins everywhere and it is good to see them. The outdoor  Saturday famers market is supposed to start In March. I will  check it out tomorrow. The weather is supposed to warm up next week.
Ya Po Ah is being upgraded and there is machinery everywhere. This construction will take 2 years.
