Back in Maine

wild crabapple
All these paintings were made on the Back Cove property.
Here I am home in Maine for two months while the Ya Po Ah apartments get renovated. It is so good to be here, the place I love the most, my paradise. I just got back from a dip in the salt water, sat in the sun on the granite rocks, breathed in the salt air and listened to the water lap against the shore and the wind blowing through the leaves of the big oaks along the bank. I can look out to the mouth of the cove to see my favorite island Haystack that I have painted so many times. I am so thankful to be here.
