Change is now

April 14
The reason for the pandemic is slowly coming to light. As I watched Democracy Now talking about farm workers and meat packing plants, mostly made up of emigrant workers, and  the unjust care for their welfare, These large corporations have a monopoly on the food industry. They are interested in profit for stockholders, not the well being of their workers. Not only are the farm workers underpaid but look how the animals are raised, killed and processed. To top it off much of the food is shipped all over the globe.

I am hoping that all will come back to the communities. That people’s well being will come first and I see that changing already. Many people find they can work at home. There are a lot more small farms. Here in Eugene the Saturday farmers market is thriving. I heard the seed companies are selling out of stock and that means people are putting in back yard gardens.People are stepping up to the plate to find ways to get us out of this chaotic time. States and cities are working together. There is more unity, more compassion.   Ordinary people working at jobs of service are now recognized and appreciated, from grocery store workers to garbage collectors, to farm workers to cleaners to care takers to doctors and the list  goes on
Excerpts from Bernie’s campaign ending speech
As you all know, we have never been just a campaign. We are a grassroots multi-racial, multi-generational movement which has always believed that real change never comes from the top on down, but always from the bottom on up.

Martin Luther King, Jr. reminded us that "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." The fight for justice is what our campaign was about. The fight for justice is what our movement remains about,  what is possible and what we are entitled to as human beings.
Bernie went through a few if we don’t believe statements
If we don't believe that we are entitled to health care as a human right, we will never achieve universal health care. Etc .  It was a good speech

The paradigm must change to we all deserve and believe  we will attain all things that give us abundance  and freedom to live in harmony with humanity  It is Spring, new growth new ideas forever eternal forever changing.
Peace and love
