Art Show at Savory Restaurant

I am having a show of my paintings at savory restaurant in Damariscotta Maine, February 11 to March21. I will be moving in the near future to Eugene OR. where my youngest son lives. I am trying to get my paintings seen and hopefully bought. As I have stated before I have a storage problem. I should have put more effort into selling years ago. A lot of people leave things to the last minute and I am one of them. This is not the last minute as I am not dead but I am making some effort so my children won't have to deal with the paintings when I am not here. This is crazy because I have so many paintings I will need a miracle, however I believe in miracles. This is networking as Doug says. This is a little more information about me. I like stability, a funny thing to say when we, Charlie and I, never had a steady income as self employed artists. I mean stability in relationships, close family, feeling protected, and loved. I don’t go and explore new places because where I live provides everything I need. I am very familiar with my environment. The subject matter is the same in many of my paintings but through weather and seasons or my way of seeing the paintings are all unique. I am visually stimulated by everything I look at. The beauty of nature gives me such pleasure. We do not think of communication as being associated with objects of mineral or vegetable. Energy penetrates all things and when one is open then nature speaks. We all give and receive. We can not live otherwise. We are all connected to each other even those we do not know or see. I live alone but I share my life through my art. The moment of the now is wonderful but the memory of it will remain. Maine will always be with me.
