How does time go by so fast. I have not made a blog since I have been back to Eugene after my wonderful stay in Maine. Here it is Thanksgiving and the beginning of my favorite time of year. Fall is beautiful here in Eugene and last longer then in New England, There have been frosts here and the gardens at YaPo Ah have been cleaned up ready for spring. I am able to eat Kale that grows all winter here. The turkeys get it if it is not protected from them. I have chicken wire around mine. I am settled in to my newly reverted studio apartment trying to organize storage space. I have too much stuff and I can’t part with any of it.
There are lots of activities going on at Ya Po AH . I have been on several of the excursions , the coast, the mushroom festival and the last one to Salem to ride on the carousel and then on to visit the first gris mill in Oregon. Saturday farmers market is closed for the season. Halloween is always fun , people and children in costumes. Went to 5th street market when it got dark to watch the Zombies dance, very scary. Decorations for the holidays are already up around town. May you all enjoy Thanksgiving.
Photos below are fall in the city, and pictures of Chris’s farm, everything harvested and cleaned up.The clouds were beautiful on a ride back from the farm to Ya Po Ah
